The Cali International Film Festival is the eagerly awaited stage throughout the year for independent cinema and new ways of storytelling.
Local, national, and international filmmakers present their productions to Cali’s discerning audience from November 12 to 17.
Exhibition, circulation, training, and cinematic and audiovisual appropriation are the goals of this festival, during which two awards are given.
The event has been held since 2009, when prolific Cali filmmaker Luis Ospina, who was part of the emblematic Caliwood along with Carlos Mayolo and Andrés Caicedo, served as director.
